Today I bring a very easy DIY to restore the beauty of wood furniture.
For me, wood is one of the most noble materials, the older and rustic wood, the more I love it. I used to use all kinds of products they sell in the market, and although many apparently restore the beauty of wood, at the same time they create layers of grease and are highly damaging for both health and environment.
When I decided to remove industrial chemicals in my house, I started to clean the wood and wrought iron with olive oil and loved the result, until I found this recipe that I share today with you and, for me, it´s the best way to treat my precious wooden objects and furniture.
Para mí la madera es uno de los materiales más nobles, cuanto más antigua y rústica, más me enamora. Antes utilizaba todo tipo de productos que venden en el mercado, y aunque muchos en apariencia restauran la belleza de la madera, al tiempo van creando capas de grasa y son altamente perjudiciales, tanto para la salud como para el medio ambiente.
Cuando decidí quitar los químicos industriales de mi casa, empecé a limpiar la madera y la forja con aceite de oliva y me encantó el resultado, hasta que encontré esta otra receta que hoy comparto con vosotros y es, para mí, la manera definitiva de tratar mis muebles y objetos de madera más preciados.
